Hi,
I would appreciate some advice.
I was been made redundant last week after a long length of service.
I have worked for the company for 18 years in total.
After 9 years service I took one year off and went to Australia for a years holiday and did not do any work. Before the year was up I received a call from the job offering my position back, to which I readily agreed
I know I am probably whistling in the wind but I am recieving 9 years redundancy payment and I was wondering if there was any reason why my total 18 years should be condsidered. To be honest I feel like I have no case but my immediate boss (ex) actually recommended that I should get some legal advice regarding this.
Thanks in anticipation
