Hi,
I am currently working for a large company on a temp contract, there are a few months remaining on this contract , I am a permanent employee in a different department within the same company, my permanent position (role) is being made redundant ie all my old work colleagues roles are no longer available which was announced today , so when my current temp contract has expired, I have no job to go back to.
My question is, do I fall under this for redundancy.
I would have thought so except HR are saying it doesnt effect my current role even though my current role is on a temp basis?
Can anyone help?
