Redundancy - payment of notice

The company which I have been employed by for past 15 years has just gone into receivership...

My basic is €500 per week with an average commission of about €600 per week. I am entitled to 8 weeks notice for my 15 years service. What should this be per week?. Should it be calculated by formal of back dating 13 weeks and then taking the average of the previous 26 weeks service? Is it based on my basic or is it limited to € 600 per week?
