Redundancy Packages

Hi Folks

I work for a large US MNC for the last 14 years and there is talk of redudancy. I need to get a hande on what other companies are offering in the Irish marketplace. In particular I would love to get an idea of what Dell, IBM, HP, Intel, etc. may have offered.

Any ideas very welcome.

Between 4 and 8 weeks per year was the range I know of. 6 weeks per year is considered good. Some of the pharmas offered 8 weeks per year in the past, but this is very unusual now.

I have recent experience of this with an mnc too, 4 weeks is the basic, topped up to 6 if youve applied for the redundo yourself or it was 8 weeks if it was imposed by the co. couple of other weeks here and there but thats generally what youre looking at.
