If a company intends making a 10% pay cut after a round of redundancies, can I volunteer for redundancy instead of taking the paycut and can I be refused redundancy and forced to take the paycut ?
You can be refused redundancy, but you cannot be forced to take a pay cut. You must agree to one. But given the choice between a 10% pay cut and a 100% pay cut, I know which one I'd choose.........
