hello everyone
its unfortunate that i find myself here but am glad the forum exists as i need some advice,i was made redundant on friday after 10years in the job,a liquidator has been appointed to sort stuff out but im in the dark about things cause depending on who u ask depends on the answer u get and they are differing greatly,i basically need info on the following
1.if i find employment next week say, does that negate my redundancy claim.
2.will the government pay my redundancy as the company has gone bust.
3.how long does it take to be processed.
4.am i entitled to extra weeks pay as we were given no notice of the closure,it has been said because of the manner of the closure that im entitled to 6 weeks pay on top of my redundancy.
any information on any of the above is greatly appreciated and i look forward to any replies.
