Hi Folks,

Well the day I knew was looming has arrived and I have been told I am being made redundant. It's not a surprise by any means, we all saw it coming over the past year or so.

Luckily (and this I believe is someone upstairs looking out for me) I have secured an interview for this week so I am surrounded by a silver lining and praying to God I get it!

What I am wondering is what do I need to look for off my current employer before I leave?

I would think the following one be main items

1. Redundacy Cheque payment on last day(they should prepare any redundancy forms for signing)
2. make sure Correct notice given by them
2. P45
3. Income levey cert
4. Make sure all holiday are calulated and paid up

I hope the interview goes well for you

Thank you Papervalue, I hope so too!! It sounded very positive so I have all my fingers and toes crossed.

When you say ensure correct notice given by them, what do you mean?

And what about the all important reference. Hopefully you don't need it now but it might be useful in the future

Thanks for the link Papervalue - correct notice was given even though we have no contracts.

In relation to Reference, collecting it tomorrow to ensure I have it covered for my interview on Saturday.
