If a job is made redundant, how long must the job be gone before it could be readvertised. What I mean is, if a business anticipates, say, a 6 month slowdown, can they lay off staff and then in 6 months re-hire them?
There isn't a straightforward answer to your question, Sluice44. Factors which affect it include whether the redundancy was voluntary or involuntary and what exactly the newly-advertised job is.
