I have been working with a company since 1991 which changed its name in 1998 when I was made a non proprietary director of the company.I have recently been offered a redundancy package on the basis of my term of employment from 1998 until now ,& I have heard that under certain circumatances or particular situations despite the company name change, employees are still considered to be working for the same entity that they commenced working with.
Does anyone have any relevant info on this type of issue to enable me to ensure I receive my full mininum statutory redundancy entitlements ?
thanks,
Gerry
