Hoping someone can answer this, I am goggle eyed from looking at workplacerelations website.
My partner has been working in a company for 17 years. His work has been contracted out under TUPE and he has been continually working under TUPE for various employers over the years.
Now the company has been sold and the new buyers have decided to terminate the contract they had for this type of work and employ the people to do the job themselves
My partner has been asked to stay with the company and offered a contract of employment far inferior to what he has under TUPE. He doesn’t want to accept it.
Do the TUPE company have to make him redundant or offer him a job elsewhere ?
TIA
