Redudancy and a herd no.

I am working full time with same employer for 17 yrs , I may be facing redundancy soon. I was told that because I am a part time farmer ( making no profit) and having a herd number that this will affect my redundancy!! Can anyone shed any light on this for me , thanks!!

Your redundancy is calculated in relation to your length of service and your normal wages at the time you are made redundant. Any other employment or self-employment will not be taken into account.
