Apologies if this comes across as incredibly basic but I'm currently looking at a number of unplanned expenses coming up before the end of the year, so I'm guessing that these expenses (which are tax deductible) will just reduce my tax bill? And to reduce it even further would it not make sense to make any purchases towards the end of the year in order to get the tax figure down to the lowest amount possible
