Reducing size of print

I hit some button that increased the size of the print. My son previously showed me how to correct this.He is not around so would some kind person put me right.

What device are you using?
What application are you viewing the text in?

Totally ignorant. it is a laptop. dont understand re application..would Internet explorer be of any relevance. Maker is Dell

Try going to View Tab and change zoom settings

Application means the software you are running, so yes, Internet Explorer is an application. So is Word, Excel, etc.

As Roker said, go to the View Menu and there is an option there to zoom in or out.

Or you can hold down the control tab and hit + or -.

Just to elaborate in case "control tab" is confusing

What that means is press and hold the Ctrl key and the Tab key at the same time. While holding those two down, press the plus key (+) to make the text bigger, or the minus key (-) to make the text smaller.

Or you can hold down the control tab and hit + or -.

Tab is unneccesary, just Ctrl and + or - does the trick, as does Ctrl and scrolling the mouse wheel if you have one.

Sorry, I am causing confusion, I meant to say the control KEY, not the TAB key.

Also hit Ctrl-0 (Ctrl and zero together) to go to normal (100%) sized text.
