The Lecture has given us the notes in Adobe. Can I edit theses note, not finding it very easy the recording keeps reading every. And, and number. Any way the recordings are MP3 can I convert these to be able to play on a Cd in the Car. And if so how.

You can't edit an adobe file without the full version of Adobe Acrobat, and even then it's difficult.

If you want to change from mp3 to CD format there are loads of rippers out there - I'd recommend googling it and getting a good name like Nero Burning Rom or something like that.
 
There are Optical Character Recognition programs that can take the text from a pdf document and import it into a Word document - you can then edit the document at will. Search about for a free one and give it a try.

Import the mp3's into iTunes, and then burn to an Audio CD.
