I wanted to book a hotel for next month, something nice, I know there are other threads on this but was wondering if people had recent personal experience.
 
agree but sadly rooms very dated and in need of an upgrade. Food and setting good though. Knockranny house hotel westport another one to think of.
 
Yes, Last month stayed at the Harbour Hotel in Galway. Nice and central for shops pubs eating etc. A few minutes walk to Eyre square.

This week stayed at Flannery's Best Western, Dublin Road Galway. Nice hotel two Kilom. from centre. Bus stop outside which will take you to Eyre Square. Car park at front of hotel.

Both can be viewed and booked on website.

Has anyone stayed in the The Westport Inn Hotel?
The Wylde and Synge suites look very nice on their website at [broken link removed]

They have an offer of 3 Nights Bed & Breakfast and 2 Dinner for 129 euros pps which is very good but this is for a standard double room.

Wondering if anyone has stayed in this hotel and this type of room?
 
they are having difficulty getting their licence renewed. Not sure about reason but is a bit of a late night haunt so not sure how quiet it would be.
