Almost any accountant in the country can look after this for you.Does anyone have recommendations for an accountant that can do the following:
1. Annual Tax return for PAYE Employee with a single Rented Investment Property, nothing out of the ordinary
For this, you really need to be talking to a life/pensions advisor rather than an accountant. Beware ending up being the lad who asks his barber does he need a haircut.2. Advise on Pension Planning
I'd expect that most accountants would be very wary of giving advice on tax avoidance, as it is fraught with risk.3. Advise on Tax Avoidance - shares sales etc
I presume that you actually mean planning investments for tax efficiency and not actual tax avoidance?3. Advise on Tax Avoidance - shares sales etc
So good Clint I've edited it alreadyGreat one liner Tommy. Beware of the warning that if don't end up being the lad who asks his barber does he need a haircut.
Not that slow, I'd wager.Dam I'm getting too slow off the draw....
Avoidance is ok, evasion isntpresume that you actually mean planning investments for tax efficiency and not actual tax avoidance?
Not always. Certain avoidance is not ok. E.g. transactions artificially structured mainly or solely to benefit from tax reliefs and which might not otherwise be carried out of such relief was not available.Avoidance is ok
In light of the above I've changed your 1st post to show 'tax efficiency' rather than tax avoidance.Apologies I should have not used the word avoidance, I was trying to differentiate from evasion. Having read the Link that Clubman posted I now understand avoidance is inappropriate. So yes, let me rephrase it to:
Tax efficiency
Not necessarily.Avoidance, good.
Agh come on. Avoidance is permitted (properly structured/framed) but evasion is not. Surely thats enough to generally refer to them as good v bad respectively? Not necessarily.
Not necessarily.Agh come on. Avoidance is permitted
