Recommendation of Second hand car dealer

In general I think there's the following hierarchy of car sellers:
1) Main car dealer. Will usually only have 2nd hand cars up to 3/4 years old with no "issues" (e.g. crashed, imported, 2+ owners, huge mileage), and give a guarantee.
2) back street dealer. less certainty on the history & probably shorter guarantee.
3) private seller/auction. Buyer beware!
 
I had a good experience lately with Renault Airside (didn't buy a renault!)
They have a good selection of used cars.
 
Be careful though, there are an unbelievable amount of dodgy cars out there for sale at the moment and they are mostly appearing on independent dealer's forecourts.
