my wife has inherited some shares from her parents and has paid taxes etc on the transfer.
She has received a physical shares certificate and now wants to sell the shares to finance some projects we have planned for the house. No intention to retain them or start a wider portfolio etc.
- Any recommendations on a broker/company to do this with who is relatively good value in terms of service and commission?
- How does the process work with share certs? I assume this cert has to be couriered to a broker etc?
- What type of account is generally used here? I assume execution only?
