Recommendation Alicante region aparthotel

Hi, so we have the Ryanair flights from Knock to Alicante for the last week in September and are now looking accommodation in the area

We would like a good quality aparthotel or apartment with pool and loungers. Near restaurants and supermarket.

Sea and sand not required. Max €700 for the week. All recommendations appreciated. Thanks.

Hotel Maya is quite good, rooms very spacious and clean, fresh towels provided regularly. Staff very friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast hot and cold very good. 10 mins walk to the beack and approx 5 min walt to shopping mall. Regular bus service into town from outside the hotel.

Can recommend playamarina 1 in cabo roig, its about 45 mins south of alicante airport, taxi will cost about 50 euro, it is right on the strip in cabo roig with all bars and restaurants right on the doorstep. pool area is lovely and plenty of loungers around it with a big jacuzzi at one end, also there is 24 hr reception (very safe) and the managers paul and sharon are lovely and keep the place spotless. there is also internet access in the lobby and free wi-fi if you have your own laptop, they will even print your boarding cards at reception for your flight home, also there is a water park near-by and a go kart track and a safari park in elche. stayed there for two weeks last year think it was about 400 odd euros for a two bed apartment. Thanks for that Chewie, followed your recommendation, exactly as described and €350 for last week. What I would say is everything was easy, transfer, meals and drink right on the strip.

Only slight negative was sound travelling through the building which might disturb some if you were a very light sleeper (probably the same for all these apartment blocks)
