Recommend Restaurant in Kilkenny?

GOOD VALUE
Cafe Sol is a good value option, not formal but good quality and prices. Lautrecs is again a good value option, great steaks.
EXPENSIVE
Rinnucinis is a classy Italian opposite the castle but a bit dark. Have had two bad meals in the highly recommended Zuni's - nice venue though.

Is Pearl's still open? It's a Chinese, near the end of the main street, near a cathedral - remember having some excellent meals there.
 
Yeah, Pearl's is still there, good food and great service, and 'Jimmy' is still mad for his poker!

Whatever you do don't go into Paris Texas - worst meal of my life in there!
 
Pearls was closed last year for hygiene breaches but is open again. Pordiylos just off kieran street is excellent.
