Recommend good value network/phone for internet browsing and texting

Can anyone recommend a phone and network for me please. New baby in house so I've no time to research in person!

I mostly use phone for texting and would like to be able to go online a bit to pass the time too and have some fun with my phone. Can anyone recommend what phone and network would allow me to do this as cheaply as possible. I currently pay about €30 a month to O2 for a very small amount of calls, lots of texts and never going online - would like to be able to go online a bit without paying much more than that.

Also can't afford iphone but is there anything cheaper thats more fun to play with and go online use apps etc.

Depends what network you text/call the most.

Maybe its split equally between all networks and maybe 90% of it is to one network. So it depends.

I'd say its split evenly between different networks.
