Hi all,
My dvd player broke last week. It was a relatively 'old' one (i.e. about 5 / 6 years old) and served me well, but now it is time to move on!
I am now looking for a DVD player with the capability to record TV programmes on to a hard disk. (I never had a hard disk type of recorder before, is this easy or difficult to set up?)
What I would like to record:
I have a sky box giving me free to air channels. While I also receive the 4 Irish channels (RTE 1 & 2, TV3 & TG4), the reception is very poor. Is it possible to get dvd player/hard disk with some sort of booster in it to get better reception?
Can anyone recommend a device and suggest ballpark prices? Also, if you know of places to buy?
