Recommend Dentist North of the Border who specialises in both cosmetic and general

Hey,
Just got a quote for the choppers, nearly Eur: 3,000 for two crowns , root canal, replacement veneers on two teeth and whitening, this involves travel to Hungary. In Ireland the price is nearly double. Can anyone recommend a dentist North of the Border who specialises in both cosmetic and general dentistry that can do quality work at a reasonable price !

I got a crown and root canal treatment done this year for €400 with a student dentist in the dental hospital. (My own dentist quoted me €1200) I had absolutely no problem going to a student, she was brilliant, she's qualified now, so she's not there any more. The disadvantage is it takes more time, so I guess it depends where your priorities lie, for me it was definetly in my pocket.

I am very interested in getting veneers done on my front teeth as they are very weak and I have had fillings done on them which are now not too good. But like most people I am terrified of dentists and have not been in about 3 years. Can anyone tell me do the teeth need to be in good condition first or how is it done and is it painful?
