Recommend a power hose

Hi all. Just a few questions. Built a house 3 years ago, and used a friend's poher hose to clean paths etc last summer. I have 2 dogs so in this weather with mucky paws, they dont stay clean for long! Anyway, the paths need to be done, and the entrance wall, along with shed wall are green, eventhough I gave them a quick hose before xmas. So in short, I need to buy an electric power hose. My friends one was very good, but says it cost €500 few years ago. Was hoping to spend €200 max. What should I be looking for in terms of pressure, brands etc. Has to be fairly powerful. Argos usually have a good selection. On page 102 of the new catalogue there is a detailed explanation of power washers and what to look out for. From listening to people Karcher would appear to be a very good brand.

If you run the search option in H&G Forum and the Recommend suppliers one you may get further recommendations.

Run reviews on Google also and read the reviews on Argos also.

or get the one in offer in Aldi or Lidl when they come up .... approx. €120 .... will do the job well for you and a lot cheaper than Karcher.

The powerhose from Aldi is made by Karcher. It is a bargain but probably won't be back in stock for a few months.

Saw one on sale in Lidl this morning for €59.95 but can't remember the brand and don't see it on their website.

aint nothing wrong with the gear in aldi or lidl,its only for cleaning paths after dogs and the like..

I have a Karcher, B&Q often have sales leading up to the Summer months on them - thats how I got mine.

They have some on sale on their UK website so might be worth a look in one of the shops to see if they are on offer

Go to eBay, there's petrol power washers on it for £180 and there great good pressure . . .
