Bought a new sleigh bed just over a year ago and paid around €700 for the mattress on it. Have to say my back is just in bits every morning when I wake up and I am really missing my lovely old mattress that was 10yrs old, cost around £200 and never caused me a pain in it's life time.

I cannot afford to fork out for another new mattress so was considering purchasing a Mattress Topper. Has anyone purchased one to help solve a similar problem and has it made any difference, I don't want to be throwing good money after bad if I'm still left with the same problem.

Any recommendations please??

A good memory foam topper can cost as much as a mattress. It can be difficult to tell if it will resolve the problem. try lying on a duvet and if this cushioning works then the topper would work well.

If it's a pillow-top effect you're looking for try this: [broken link removed]

Helen Turkington in Ranelagh stock much of their range, can work out cheaper than paying delivery from the UK.
