Reclaimed wood flooring

Hi,

Anyone out there had reclaimed flooring fitted?

I know this lightly touched on in other posts, but I want to know specifically about reclaimed wood floors. How do they compare in price to new wood floors and can anyone recommend a supplier and/or fitter?

Recently considered using reclaimed flooring. Only descent place I could find was Wilsons up in Newry/Belfast. They had a descent range, some pretty nice stuff and they weren't too expensive in comparison to a new solid floor. They deliver and fit in the republic. Didnt go with them in the end but I did like ther stuff.
BTW - not affiliated in anyway with this crowd
 
Thanks for the help! Will check it out. I see reclaimed flooring mentioned regularly in interiors magazines and the like but seldom come across anecdotal advice.

They've got some really cool brewery board from an old storehouse in Guinness!! Looks class but I couldnt persuade the other half to go for it.
