Guys,

At the stage where i should be looking to get the footpaths in however i'm going to put in two recessed uplighters either side of the door, about 4" in diameter. Does anyone know of a good source for these lights i have looked in two spots and your talking about €150 a pop thats without the waterproof transformers.

A website would be great until i get a look at them also?

[broken link removed] have an outdoor brochure you can download with recessed uplighters
in it.
No prices, but they're usually not bad, you can buy the fittings from National Lighting or from most wholesalers.

Joehooker, I put in some recessed lights in my footpath a few years ago which I got in Kelliher Electrical in Cork They are good quality made by Disano.
They were quite expensive over €200 each but they are metal Halide 80W units and they light the front Column of the house which is built of stone. With lights I think you need quality especially if you are going to go to the trouble of inserting them in the footpath. see www.disano.it
