Recently married - any tax breaks going?

I was recently married, and have owned my own home in RoI for 7 years.
I work and pay tax in NI.

I have been in receipt of TRS and was wondering if there is any potential savings to be made since my wedding?

My wife works in RoI, but her name is not on the mortgage. We asked the bank about putting her name on it, but they said that it wasn't necessary and would cost money to add it, so we didn't bother.

Is there anyway that we could get more TRS than what I am receiving at present? I realise that TRS is worked out on the amount paid so this is probably out but what about any potential tax breaks for either of us?

Any feedback appreciated.

I'm pretty sure that a married couple can claim married (two person) owner occupier mortgage interest tax relief on the family home mortgage even if only one name is on the mortgage/deeds.

By the way - you should not depend on the bank for independent, professional advice on the sort of question that you asked. Whether or not it's worth putting both names on the mortgage/deeds depends on your specific circumstances. For example it can make transferring the asset on the death of one spouse easier than if there is only one of them named.
