Hi

I was employed by a company for all of 2022 with no other income other than a salary. All taxes and pension contributions deducted at source. I registered a company in October 2022 that I am a 50% director in that did not commence trading until 2023. I was notified that I was required to file a form 11 for 2022 which I presume is due to me registering as a director of a new entity.

Question
Do I need to file a form 11 for 2022 when all tax paid and taxable income has already been reported to the revenue?
If so, is there a template for how to complete?

Many Thanks

If you were asked to do so then I assume you have registered for ROS. The Form 11 is prepopulated with your details as per what your employer paid in 2022. You should be able to login to ROS and open the Form 11 and see it is as expected at which point you need to sign and send it back to them (electronically). If you have not registered for ROS, do so asap as you have only until October 31st this year to do it.

Even if it's prepopulated, the OP will still have to enter at least some details and also complete the self assessment section.

They have until 15 November if they pay and file on ROS.
