I'm just wondering if anyone call tell me how receivership sales work?
I've just found out this morning that my neighbours house (my neighbours rent) is going to be put up for sale as the landlord in gone into receivership.
My husband and I recently had our house valued and were planning on putting it up for sale in the coming months and are now really worried about the impact the sale of next door is going to have on the price of our house. Will the receiver put next door up at a rock bottom price and accept any offer or what's likely to happen? We are in a 3 bed semi-d in a nice south Dublin area.
If there's time should we try to get our house on the market and sell it now before the other one is put on the market?
