Rebate of Council Development Contribution

We paid approx €4k as the development contribution to Waterford Council Council in 2005 (we have our own water supply and waste water treatment system)
I have heard recently that a portion of this can be rebated but I can't seem to find much information on it - would anyone have any experience of this and if so could you please point me in the right direction?

Hi, you need to check your planning file and grant of permisson as a discount may already have been applied. When we got our permission, also in 2005, instead of paying the full levies of €18000, we paid around €15-16k instead because we weren't on the main sewer.
