Reasonably priced garden/landscaper

I am hoping to do something with my jungle formerly known as a backgarden this spring/summer. I am not green fingered so I am trying to create a nice /low maintenance garden on a small budget. But I have no ideas as to what to do ! I am looking for someone who can give me ideas as to layout etc..(something fairly simple) and also arrange the labour etc...

My budget is flexible i.e it can be small or smaller:D so I wont be giving Diarmuid Gavin a call. Nor do I want giant lollipop sticks or electronic gadgets,

Any advice Please?
 
U probably should add your locaiton. I know a guy in Naas, so would probably do Kildare, and surrounding counties and south and west dublin, if interested
