The Revenue are planning to implement (require?) real time reporting of Business (B2B) and Business to Government (B2G) VAT Electronic Invoices. This will operate along the same lines of Revenue's existing Payroll and Expense reporting systems.
They have extended the deadline for public submissions until the end of the month. If you are interested you can find more information here:
