Ready-to-roll plaster

We are having new sockets in our (solid) walls. The electrician has chased the work into the wall, so we now have to tidy up what remains. We are also replacing the skirting boards in a number of rooms and some of the plaster has come away as they have been removed.
I'm wondering whether we should try to get a plasterer in to do the new skimming.... or whether us using ready-to-roll plaster will suffice. The walls will be painted when all the work is complete.
What do people think????

Hi
i used it a couple of weeks ago to make good some imperfections in a small bathroom, I was very happy with the result, first time using it but a bit of elbow grease required to sand down some areas that I had not properly skimmed over.
If you have had plaster removed then you will need to use a standard filler like polyfilla to bring it almost up to surroundid area as ready to roll is def not a filler.
I will be using it ongoing as a little goes a long way if you are redecorating its brillant for taking out small imperfections.
Good luck with the work
