I have been claiming JA for 18 months now. I sometimes play music for cash in hand and I was recently offered a few gigs in Germany in May. I want to go there for 2 weeks and play the concerts but I don't want to lose my claim or miss signing days. Can I suspend my claim for the 2 weeks? Is there a big rigmarole involved? What is my best option? Thanks

You can apply for 2 weeks holidays per year while on JA. This will suspend your claim for the 2 weeks. Apply at your local SW office about 4-6 weeks in advance.
 
Is there a way to do it without affecting my holidays since I'll be working while I'm away?
