Hi all
Just wondering if anyone could offer some advice, I am trying to get on the property ladder at the moment and basically have been told the only thing standing in my way is a personal loan I took out last year. Basically I took out the loan to consolidate some debts and at the moment the repayments are about 700 per month over 5 years (4 left from June).
The advice I have been given by my mortgage consultant (who is a friend of the family) is to try and get the bank (of Ireland) to extend the loan over 10 years instead of the current agreement.
My question really is would the bank do this or has anyone else any alternative suggestions?
Thanks
