Re Mortgage to consolidate debt

Hi - I have a mortgage with first active which I want to remortgage to consolidate debt. FA have told me they no longer offer remortgage for debt consolidation so anyone know which lenders still do this?

Also - any rough idea of how much legal fees are involved in switching mortgage to another lender (i see reading here halifax offers 1000 towards costs but what are costs likely to be ballpark?)
 
Most lenders except AIB will refinance existing debts for qualifying customers.

Cost of refinancing are legal and valuation. Legal costs should be very roughly €1,000 - talk to your solicitor or get a recommendation for another solicitor and the valuation should be no more than €150.
 
For remortgaging these days a lot will depend on how much equity you have in your property.

If you don't mind me asking:

What is the value of your home?
What is the loan amount outstanding?
