Rathfarnham for Lunch

Hi All

Am taking out a recently bereaved person (83yrs old) for lunch next Saturday & would like to go to a nice quiet environment & not a noisy pub type one.

Any suggestions would be appreicated & don't want to drive longer than about 20mins from Rathfarnham.

Airfield House is a nice place for lunch, a few mins from Dundrum village, and about 15 mins from Rathfarnham.

It depends on what you are looking for, Rathfarnham castle do lunches and it's popular with OAP's.
Then there's the Italian behind the Orchard or the Cafe in Rathfarnham Village.

Howards Way in churchtown or Rathgar is good for lunch, Churchtown has easier parking, Eden on Grange Road is also good as is the Morgue in Templogue both served by the same caters.
