Rangemaster Elan 110 Dual Fuel

Hi

Does anyone have any experience with this Range cooker?

Other half would like to go with a Waterford Stanley Supreme. As far as I can see there isnt much difference between the two, other than a substanial price difference!

So maybe just paying for the Stanley badge.

Any comments or experiences on either cooker would be appreciated.

I used to sell Rangemaster and they are a good brand (now part of the Aga group). I'm not so familiar with Waterford Stanley however.

Be aware the two cookers are different sizes (RM=1100, WS=1000).

The rangemaster did always strike me as feeling a bit cheap. The switchgear always struck me as fairly basic compared to others.

I'd recommend giving each a really good shake down in the respective shops. Twist and turn and pull at the knobs. Open and close (with a bang) the doors. See if your hand catches on the trim anywhere when opperating things on it (you'd be supprised how un-ergonomic they can be at times).

And most importantly... which do you like the look of best...

or should that be which does the other half like best...
