Raising Investment - How to issue equity?

Hi All,

How best to issue equity. Transfer existing shares, or issue new shares? Time sensitive on this one, so I imagine there are time and cost factors related to issuing new shares.

Pros/Cons of each method?

2 founders, 50 shares each. Now in latter stages of selling 25% equity.

Surely the only way is to issue new shares?

If you sell some of your shares, you will get the money, not the company.

If the company issues new shares, the company will get the money.
