Thank god I have only one of CBGB,s issues, I have a leak also where the down pipe goes through my felt roof in the utility room, Any ideas on how to do a diy job on it as it is not worth calling someone out for, If someone has the name of a sealer I would appreciate it, Thank you.
By right you need a collar with flange affair with the former sealed to the pipe and the latter to the felt.
A simple ring of "gunge" around the penetration will either not work or will not last long.

When I said a "collar with flange affair" I didn't have a specific product in mind.
Despite what you assert in your post salaried its normally done by a guy who does roofs.
Your problem is that the pipe is in situ, but a collar may be one piece and cutting it will promote a later leak.
You need to see if there is a split product designed for after-market fitting that will allow you to seal to the pipe and roof.
If not you'll be reduced to trying to work with a torch on ad-hoc detail but the heat from any torch work could melt the pipe.
Just remember that any collar should fit the pipe as sightly as possible.
Others here may have better suggestions than I.
