Quotes for Home Improvement Loan

I am doing some work to my house and have quotes and contractors lined up for about 80% of the works, except for the kitchen as I haven’t settled on its design yet.

When applying for a home improvement loan is it ok to provide a quote for the kitchen that isn’t necessarily from the supplier we end up going with or for the exact amount?

I don't see why not, if it's only a quote to illustrate what you intend on getting done, and indication of cost.

As an aside, keep an eye out for "green" loans, as they may be an option to help fund some of the improvements, at a cheaper rate!

It normally won't matter, they just want to ensure a kitchen goes in for the money advanced, where you get it won't matter and unlikely to be even checked.
