I'm assuming you have a motor insurance policy with QD. If you are changing the address at which the vehicle is normally kept then its perfectly legitimate. Each area will have different risks associated with them. Eg parts of Dublin as opposed to west Kerry. The former will carry a much higher risk for the insurer.
