Quilty cottages ,Clare,anyone been there?

Hi, have seen these on the internet and they look very nice,nice views etc.Have any of you been there? Does the website reflect the reality?

Ballvaughan is the only place in Clare to go. I have stayed in the thatched cottages many times. They are well equipped too.

There are 2 or 3 quality restaurants within a 10 minute walk. Most cottages face on to the sea.

Quilty Cottages 3 star are quite basic. Go for the 4 star ones at least. Views are good but as you are on a headland you also get the breeze.

Stayed in Quilty a god few years ago. Cottages were rural, but veru functional and spotless. Lovely small beach behind our cottage but as far as I recall there isn't a shop or bar / restaurant within walking distance so be prepared to organise a DD for nights out.
