I need to get about €10k from somewhere & was thinking of just topping up the mortgage. Is there much admin involved in this or is it just a matter of ringing my branch & organising it? Mortgage is an Ulster Bank Tracker if it makes any difference. Thanks.

Make sure there isn't any penalty clause if you're doing this. A quick call to the lender should be able to confirm this but read the T&Cs just to make sure.
