Question regarding rental income & mortgage relief

I will be letting my property from 4 December 2004 and would like to cancel the mortgage relief i have been receiving, which presume i will no longer be eligible to receive.
I have already written to the Collector Generals office, but nothing has happened.
My Husband works in Ireland and is semi self employed since November this year, can he submit the rental income in his self assessment tax returns or does it need to be submitted separately?
Any help with this matter would be greatly appreciated.

That is correct.

Have you also informed your lender seeing that they deduct the relief "at source" and may be able to advise or inform Revenue themselves.

I can't answer this one myself I'm afraid.
