Question on Prsi contribution

I have10 years stamps from 1970 to 1980 I have worked since 1980 in a semi state and thus not paying full stamp. Does any one know does the 10 years count towards an old age pension
 
Yes of course they count for Contributory Pension.

If you haven't already got a statement of contributions from SP, request one from welfare.ie just to be sure you have 520 contributions which is the basic requirement. You may be entitled to a part State Contributory pension.
