Just be careful to check that you have not taken more leave than you entitled to (e.g. if your holiday year runs Jan to Dec and you leave in July you are only due a portion of the 22 days [for example 7/12ths of the total]. This should be clearly detailed in your contract / staff handbook for the specific details for your contract).Holidays can count towards your notice period.
People often give a months notice and take two weeks holidays within that time, i.e. announce their attention to take the two weeks holiday when giving notice. Totally unprofessional in my opinion but allowed.
