The unit is a 20 year old gas boiler. Vokera mynute 14se is the name. Is working fine. The gas boiler service man issued a non conformance note saying PRV is not connected to outside. Is this something to be concerned about ? Is it serious. He Wants 70 euro to fix.
Oddly he also sent a text saying heat exchanger is badly scaled and could leak in the future. Quote of 400 to fix. He didn't mention this on the non conformance docket. A plumber who I asked suggested replacing the whole thing as Vokera is a cheap make. Not sure what to do if anything as there have been no issues with the boiler. Reluctant to replace as costs 2k.
