Question about estimating repair costs.

I'm thinking of buying a house near Dublin city centre that will need repairs done to it. Is there a way of estimating the cost of repairs by the area of the house ? For example if the house is 1,000 sq ft then the cost or replastering would be X Euro multiplied by 1,000. The cost of rewiring would be Y Euro multipled by 1,000. If not is there a list of approved architects? Thanks in advance for any replies.

Ask around for guys who do this kind of work if you like results.

You might be lucky and find a name common to both sets of questions.
